Lansdowne Youth is a group run by volunteers from Lansdowne Church, for young people who are in school years 6 – 10. The group meets during term time on Friday evenings, usually from 7:30pm to 9pm, and on Sunday mornings at Woodbury Avenue.
At Woodbury Avenue Youth Church meet during the 9:15 and 11:15 services in the large hall at the rear of the complex.
Stewards and Young Church team will be pleased to help you find the way in each location.
Fridays are made up of a range of exciting and varied activities either at Littledown Youth Centre, our Woodbury Avenue site or at other venues for trips out. We aim to provide a safe place to relax, and for the young people to grow in confidence as we make new friends and have lots of fun!
On Sundays there is time to worship God, read the Bible, learn more about the Christian faith and through this develop a personal relationship with God. Our teaching aims to be relevant and applicable as we emphasise a growing understanding of how Jesus is good news for our lives and our nation.
We have a dedicated team of teachers and helpers (all DBS checked) who have a real heart for young people.
Further information is available from the Church Office.
Please complete the relevant parental consent form for you son or daughter to attend regularly. Parents and carers, this can be done on your first time with us at Youth Church, and it would be helpful if you did this by accompanying them at the beginning of the first time.
We really look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.
