Our Community Fun Days at our Woodbury Avenue site are becoming locally renowned. Our past two events have welcomed nearly 500 people through the doors and raised almost £2000 for local charities.
This year’s eagerly anticipated event takes on the nationwide theme of ‘The Great Get Together‘ , driven by the husband of murdered politician Jo Cox. Our event will give the local community around the Strouden Park area the chance to get together in our wonderful building with all our wonderful people having a whole lot of fun together, whatever their age or stage!
Between 1pm – 4pm on Saturday 17th June we will have the usual array of bouncy castles, slides, kids soft play, BBQ, games, bookstall and prizegiving. This year the confirmed live acts in our café include a Steel Band, a choir, a local gymnastics club and much more!
These days have been brilliant over the past few years, but take lots of organising. Help is needed to set up on the day before, the morning of the event and packing up after the event. Lots of help is also needed on the day. Please get in touch via the office if you’re able to help.
