Youth Notes: 5 April 2020
FROM FEAR TO FAITH – HABAKKUK 3
Perspective – ‘The sky is falling in!’
In what ways does it look like the sky is falling in today?
What about you? How is the lock-down affecting you?
“We’ve just become comfortable…”
How have we become comfortable?
“Habbakuk looked at the world he was living…”
What did he see? (Have a look at Hab 3:17)
How did he feel? (Hab 3:16a)
How did he respond? (Hab 3:16b)
He moved from worrying, to watching, to worshipping
Where did his worrying start? Hab 1:2
What about us? What things are making you worry at the moment?
What did it mean for Habakkuk to ‘watch’? Hab 2:1-3
What is Our Hope?
How might you be able to encourage someone today by helping them think about the hope there is in Jesus? Could you contact one of your friends from church or school today and ask how they’re doing at the moment?
