Welcome to the Lansdowne Kids & Youth page of Lansdowne Church!
Welcome to Lansdowne Church. My name is Darryl and I am the Head of Youth Ministry for 11-18s groups.
As a church we are passionate about children, youth and families and we have a range of different groups for them to attend.
At Lansdowne we have lots of different activities for children and young people of all ages.
Click on the links below to find out more about what we offer for you to get involved with. We’d love to see you at the groups!
We have a dedicated team of teachers and helpers (all DBS checked) who have a real heart for young people.
SUNDAY GROUPS
The following groups run during the Sunday morning service throughout term time. We begin the service all together in the main auditorium and the service leader will direct the children and youth to their groups after the welcome, notices and first songs.
FOOTSTEPS
Footsteps Leaders: Carolyn McConnell & Jenny Beston
Footsteps is a fun and safe space for 0-4s to play and learn about Jesus, through play, Bible stories, songs and craft.

Our aim is to see children build a relationship with Jesus and learn how to follow him.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)
STEPPING STONES
Ground Breakers is is a fun-filled group for children in preschool and reception.
We aim to teach big truths for little hearts, with Bible stories, singing, games and crafts.
Together, we want to find out more about God from the Bible, discover that God for us to be friends with Him and learn how we can live for Him.
GROUND BREAKERS
Ground Breakers is an action packed and fun kids church for children in Year 1 to Year 4.

We inspire children to grow in their relationship with God through prayer, worship, an engaging kids message, games and creative activities.
Discipleship underpins our work with the children.
We aim to disciple children to have a knowledge of the Bible and relationship with God that impacts their lives and those around them.
Digging Deeper
Digging Deeper is a break out group for School years 5-6 giving them opportunity to dig deeper into the Word, ask questions and have fun together.
We study the Bible together, discover more about God’s Word, learn how to apply the Bible, share questions, play cool games and build relationships.

Focus (Years 7-9) and CYFA (Years 10-13) are our youth groups at Lansdowne Church. There is more information about our midweek groups below but we also meet on a Sunday morning during the service to play games, study the Bible and apply the Good News of Jesus to our lives today.

Mum’s Bible Study
Alternate Mondays, 10am - 12pm term-time
Mum’s Bible Study is a fortnightly Bible study group for mums with young children.
Relaxed atmosphere with refreshments, toys and feeding activities. We study the Bible, pray and invest in building relationships.

Lansdowne Tots
Thursdays, 10am-11:30am, term time
We provide a happy, relaxed and informal environment for children under 5 to play and for parents/carers to meet and chat. There are various toys, craft table, role play, messy play, singing and refreshments. Each week we have a Bible story theme for the session. No charge is made, however, donations are welcome.

Fridays, 6:30pm-7:45pm, term-time
Hi5 is a kids club for children in school years 3-6. We offer a range of exciting activities, with occasional trips out. We aim to provide a safe place to relax, make new friends and have lots of fun! In addition, we provide a Christian environment where children can learn about God and grow in their Christian faith.

The Families Team
The Families Team are an amazing team of people who run our Children and Families Events including Holiday Club, Light Party, Fun Days and much more. They exist to lead targeted events that reach out to children and families in the church and in the community with the love of Jesus.

FOCUS
LANSDOWNE YOUTH (SCHOOL YEARS 7-9)
Friday evenings – 7:30-9pm
Each week, we meet at the Lansdowne Road building for social time together and a short Bible talk or Testimony. This includes, fun games, nights out and plenty of treats and tuck. Please email focus@lansdownechurch.uk if you would like to be added to the mailing list. We also meet on Sunday mornings, during the service, to study the Bible together and spend time learning more about Jesus.

CYFA
LANSDOWNE YOUTH (SCHOOL YEARS 10-13)
Wednesdays 7:30 – 9:30pm
We meet together each week (during term time) to catch up with each other, share our lives and study the Bible. We want to learn what God says and how it is relevant to us today. It’s a chance for you to ask lots of questions and discuss your ideas in small groups and with leaders. We want to help you read the Bible, understand who Jesus is and apply His Word to your life.
If you are keen to get home to do some work or grab an early night, then we finish by 9pm. But if you can, stay around for a chat until 9:30pm. Please email cyfa@lansdownechurch.uk if you would like to be added to the mailing list.
